  • Achieving time. You will have been enlightened by Xue’s demo and guidance once you have practised it over a while, maybe even short like 15 minutes, let alone over 100 days, which by a thumb of rule normally is taken as a period for a small success (one year for a middle, three years for a big).

  • First Stage More: 96>>37>>4

a.     Your goal will be to master all the 96 single skills accurately and thoroughly. The 96 has been practised over about 100 years, it’s proven and tested, and you can compare to others’ practices, and having a handful measure and reference points to others. That means you have an open and standardised system first. More importantly, the 96 allows you to have a reasonable long enough time to do the body-inside-out spa, which makes not need to wait for a holiday for refreshing.

b.     Xue’s method to help you achieve this goal of yours are, refines 96 skills into 37 unrepeatable skills (the repeating has a sense behind it), then organise the 37 into 4 sessions (9x3+10) to deliver to you. Some skills are rather straightforward, some not. You are more likely steadier at the beginning and get quicker to pick up later. Thus, I can suggest:

c.     4 lessons x 4 sessions = 16 lessons, each lesson you can cover 2 or 3 sets of skills at beginning, more later, then we can summarise all up together.

  • Xue lessons’ structure includes six parts:

a.     Gear one stage: like starting a car by starting the engine from Gear one, your heart, lungs, joints, blood circulation… need to start properly when training (when dealing with bullies, it will be another story).

b.     Re-cap: revise what you’ve achieved already.

c.     New stuff: you are showed and explained new skills. 5 to 7 times from my back to my front.

d.     Your time: you practise your skills yourself for 5 minutes or so, extend your comfortable zone.

e.     With targets: you may be guide in a safe (not dangerous and be protected) and meaningful (based on reasonable possibilities but not ridiculous ones) way, either practise with a person or an equipment (say, a sandbag like).

f.      Plenary: summary up, reflecting time, relaxing activities to tidy up.

  • The detailed skills (English translations will be provided during the training time) of each session is on the right table.

Your financial investment and dedication into Tai Chi Quan practising are:

a.     One lesson for an hour is £50. One session 4 lessons’ payment of £200 needs to clear before 48 hours any session starts.

b.     Should be unhappy at any lesson, as long as the lesson’s time is less than 30 minutes, without any reason given, that lesson tuition will be fully refunded within 24 hours.

c.     To cancel any lesson, 48 hours advanced notice is needed. Emergency absence can only be taken once. Unless these two situations, no tuition will be refunded due to absences.

d.     No alcohol, no drug, no rudeness, no defiance will be tolerated.

e.     Lateness will be learners’ own responsibilities, no time added from the Shifu.

  • Master Xue’s guarantee. Should you be able to practise Tai Chi every day and enjoy it every day, hence speed up your learning progress, Shifu Xue will be happier to cooperate with you. That means if you can finish the 96 skills in three sessions’ time with a reasonably good quality, your investment will be reduced from £800 to £600. Shifu Xue will take this and help you do so, should be without watering down the quality.

  • A certificate will be issued that verifies your achievement when you are qualified.

  • The second and third stages guidance will be only provided once you are qualified the first stage.
